Political Bio
My political views at this time are pretty moderate. I would say that I am a slight right wing thinker when it comes to our country as a whole. I do believe that cutting our countries national deficit should be the most important matter at hand. I believe we should do so by cutting certain government programs, but also cutting our government spending on war. After completing a budget deficit project that was placed in the New York Times, I found that raising the medicare age up by 5-7 years and taking more than 70% of our troops out of other countries would cut our deficit in half within 30 years. I do not consider my self too conservative or too liberal and I truly do believe in bipartisanship. I got into my GOVT 2305 ONL to learn more about the everyday actions of our local, state, and national governments. I would like to know this so I know if the actions I see within my near future are warranted and if they are good decisions based on past events. I would also like to be able to make a stronger case for my political ideologies and I believe this class may help me do so. We are yet to see...
